Where it all began
Jim discovered his passion at 12 during a visit to Feadship Van Lent. He went on to work at Winch and Azure before joining Lürssen as Lead Exterior Designer, where he created the 82-metre Haven. Bernd refined his design skills in Italy, working across architecture and automotive, before launching his own studio in 2013. His work now sails worldwide and is shaped by experience and curiosity. Together, they bring over 20 years of design expertise and a shared drive to push boundaries.
Amsterdam Studio
Our studio is based in Houthaven, Amsterdam’s western port — an inspiring setting where passing ships and waterfront views fuel our creativity. This dynamic maritime environment reflects the spirit of our work and keeps us closely connected to the essence of yacht design. Just minutes from the airport, we are easy to reach and at the centre of the international yacht industry.
